Hats off to one of the most incredible components of this year's Spirit of the Sea Festival: sand sculptor Craig Mutch!
I had the pleasure of spending three days with Craig and his team beside the Tourism Kiosk on Marine Drive. Like so many people in our wonderful community, Craig is a very charitable spirit. We are delighted that he chose the Peninsula Community Foundation to be his charity of choice for the weekend. Foundation volunteers collected $450 in donations over the weekend while Craig completed his magnificent sand sculpting.
This amazing artist brought many ooo's and ahh's from the audience who showed a great interest in Craig, his sculpting and the future of more of this kind of art being brought back to White Rock.
